Stardate 54814.5 Chakotay (Robert Beltran) and Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) are stranded amongst a primitive people when their shuttle encounters an energy barrier that prevents Captain Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) and USS Voyager from locating them.
