Stardate 51449.2 While preparing a shipboard feast on the eve of Prixin, the Talaxian celebration of family, Neelix (Ethan Phillips) is asked to join Chakotay (Robert Beltran) and Paris (Robert Duncan McNeill) on a shuttle mission. Neelix is all too glad to help, but the assignment proves to be fatal. Upon the return of the shuttle to Voyager, Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan), citing Neelix's diverse functions within the crew, applies Borg technology to restore him. Alive and shaken by his death, Neelix questions his assumptions about life -- and the promised afterlife -- as the Prixin festivities commence. |
