Stardate 48832.1 Neelix (Ethan Phillips) is confronted by Haakonian scientist Ma'bor Jetrel, the man responsible for creating the Metreon Cascade, a device that was used to annihilate a major portion of the Talaxian race, including Neelix's family. Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) understands Neelix's bitterness but allows Jetrel aboard when he explains that he's searching for victims of metremia, a late-developing disease caused by exposure to metreon radiation. Tempers flare between the two, with Neelix constantly distrusting the man who murdered his family. Ultimately, he discovers Jetrel's true motive for being on board the ship -- but it might be too late! |

Stardate 48846.5 When a Maquis engineer breaks Federation rules and repairs one of Voyager's bio-neural gel packs without warning, it causes a commotion on board the ship. In an effort to help the Maquis crew members assimilate and bring them up to Starfleet standards, Tuvok (Tim Russ) is enjoined to start a training program. Initially, the four Maquis selected to participate in the program balk at Tuvok's tough disciplinary style. Meanwhile, more power disruptions begin to threaten the ship's core systems. As the crew search for a cure to this life-threatening situation, Tuvok and his trainees must overcome some obstacles of their own. |
