| Stardate 48658.2 While a Voyager away team routinely explores a new planet for foodstuffs, a cloaked Kazon-Nistrim ship is detected in orbit. Before the crew members can be recalled Chakotay (Robert Beltran) is injured by two Kazonians after he tries to protect Seska. Three days later, Voyager gets a distress call from a Kazon warship. It turns out to be the one they just encountered, but with only one survivor amid devastation that was caused by Federation technology. Only someone on board Voyager could have given the Kazon such technology. Chakotay and Tuvok (Tim Russ) set a trap to find the traitor, with shocking results. | |

| Stardate 48693.2 After beaming aboard some photonic matter from a nearby protostar, the crew discover Ensign Kim (Garrett Wang) is missing. Tuvok (Tim Russ) and Chakotay (Robert Beltran) find no sign of him in the Holodeck where he was last reported, but discover the program is still running: a version of the English epic poem Beowulf. When they too disappear, Janeway (Kate Mulgrew) sends the Doctor (Robert Picardo) in to investigate and unravel the mystery. Once inside this dangerous, mythical world, he encounters a terrifying creature that holds the secret to his comrade's whereabouts. Will he survive his first away mission? | |
