Stardate Unknown First Minister Shakaar (Duncan Regehr), the former head of Major Kira's (Nana Visitor) resistance cell, creates a stir when he arrives at the station to negotiate Bajor's early admittance into the Federation. No sooner is Shakaar on board than Odo (René Auberjonois) discovers a Cardassian extremist group is planning to assassinate him. Security is increased throughout the station and Odo agrees to guard the minister around the clock, but his task is made especially difficult when Shakaar and Kira start to get close. Odo, who is secretly in love with Kira, is soon overwhelmed by his emotions and begins to lose control -- a situation which could endanger all of their lives. |

Stardate Unknown At First Minister Shakaar's request, Kira (Nana Visitor) prepares for a conference at a Cardassian outpost. Surprisingly, she will be escorted there by her nemesis Gul Dukat (Marc Alaimo), who has been reduced to commanding a freighter. Dukat reveals he was demoted because he brought Tora Ziyal (Cyia Batten), his half-Bajoran daughter, back to Cardassia, a move which destroyed his life and career. Upon arriving at the outpost, they discover a Klingon Bird-of-Prey has destroyed the facility and all the diplomats are dead. At Kira's suggestion, Dukat adapts a disruptor from the outpost and together the two former combatants go after the Klingons. Will Dukat's redemption be Kira's downfall? |
