As the mission progresses, the prophecy begins to come true, including the appearance of a comet which could destroy the wormhole. Now, Sisko, who has always been reluctant to accept his role as Emissary, must make a fateful decision and face his destiny. |

Stardate Unknown Grand Nagus Zek (Wallace Shaw) visits the station and moves into Quark's (Armin Shimerman) quarters, where he begins to rewrite the Rules of Acquisition. After reading the text, Quark discovers that the new Rules reflect qualities of goodness rather than greed, and he refuses to accept the changes. An examination of Zek's ship log reveals that during a visit to the wormhole, the Nagus made contact with some mysterious aliens. Reviled by his greed and avarice, the aliens reverted him to an earlier, kinder stage of Ferengi development. Horrified by the prospect of a generous Grand Nagus, Quark risks everything to return Zek to his normal, greedy state and save the Ferengi way of life. |
