Stardate 45349.1 The Enterprise races toward Penthara IV where a massive asteroid has struck an unpopulated continent, creating a dust cloud that threatens to destroy the planet. En route, a mysterious stranger suddenly materializes on board - professor Berlingoff Rasmussen (Matt Fewer). He claims to be a historian from the 26th century who has come back in time to study the Enterprise. Through he is suspicious, Picard (Patrick Stewart) encourages the crew to cooperate with the professor and they resume their mission. Arriving at Penthara IV, the crew struggles to save the planet but their initial plan backfires. Desperate, Picard asks Rasmussen for advice, but the mysterious historian refuses to help. With time running out, Picard must rely on his own instincts. |

Stardate 45376.3 While the Enterprise participates in the testing of a new propulsion method called a soliton wave, Worf (Michael Dorn) receives an unexpected visit from his human adoptive mother (Georgia Brown) and his son Alexander (Brian Bonsall). Surprise turns to shock, however, when the boy informs his father that he plans to live on the ship permanently. As Worf struggles with his new parental duties - Alexander has a tendency to lie and misbehave - the crew discovers the wave test has gone awry and is threatening a nearby colony. They work frantically to fix the problem, but the Enterprise is badly damaged and Alexander is trapped in one of the biolabs where a fire has begun. Can Worf find his son in time? |
