Stardate 43462.5 After receiving a distress signal from a Romulan scout ship, the Enterprise beams aboard Setal, a low-ranking officer seeking asylum. Setal gives Picard (Patrick Stewart) some startling news: the Romulans have settled on Nelvana Three and plan to seize control of the Neutral Zone within 48 hours. Worf (Michael Dorn) urges Picard not to trust Setal, who is revealed to be Admiral Jarok, an infamous aggressor against the Federation. Nevertheless, Picard leads the Enterprise to Nelvana Three where there is no sign of Romulan occupation. Suddenly, the Enterprise is surrounded by three Romulan warships. Now Picard's old nemesis, Commander Tomalak (Andreas Katsulas), is demanding Picard's surrender...or his life. |
