The Hyena Story is one of four titles from the Jane Goodall library released on DiscoVision. The video
transfer, taken from 16mm film, is sharp and clean, but is rather faded for a program only 3 years old. The audio
transfer is typical of low fidelity 16mm film and is unremarkable. It is a limitation of the source. Disc
replication, from very early in the DiscoVision pressings is clean with very little speckling.
